We have obtained BVRI CCD frames of the inner Abell radius of 14 Abell clusters as part of a survey that will eventually include 45 clusters with 0.03 < z < 0.08. We report on how the colours and surface brightness profiles can be used to identify galaxy Hubble type despite having rather large (2.1 arcsec) pixels and small images.
