On the Fringe of Tretaspis

Extract

This paper is an endeavour to demonstrate a development in the fringe of the Trinucleidae, which attained its acme in the Upper Ashgillian as exemplified by the Girvan species Tretaspis cerioides (Angelin) var. sortita Reed.
