Planetology at Dome C

Abstract

Studies of the transparency of the atmosphere and weather conditions clearly reveal that the site of the Dome C could become in the next decades one of the best terrestrial sites for astronomy, from millimeter to optical wavelengths. In this article, we review the potentiality of the site for studies dedicated to planetology.
