Abstract

We present here some issues for the radiation hydrodynamics simulations in the context of young stellar jets and laboratory radiative shocks. We first briefly present some different techniques used to dynamically couple the radiation with the hydrodynamics. Then, we discuss the actual simulations and the improvements that interferometry will bring in a near future. Finally, we present a radiation-hydrodynamics public code which have been developed recently and have already been applied to these two domains.
