Abstract

There has been some controversy about whether the recessively-inherited disease infantile neuroaxonal dystrophy (IND; Seitelberger's disease) is a separate entity or a variety of pantothenatekinase-associated neurodegeneration (PKAN/Hallervorden–Spatz syndrome).
