A 6-year-old patient was diagnosed with an arteriovenous fistula in the neck region. Non-invasive three-dimensional imaging, including computed tomography and ultrasonography, was used for guidance of percutaneous closure of the fistula and evaluation of the final outcome.

The coexistence of long QT syndrome with 2:1 or complete atrioventricular blocks has been reported in the literature, but, to the best of our knowledge, this is the first pediatric case of long QT syndrome coexisting with first-degree atrioventricular blocks(1–3).

We describe the case of a newborn girl who displayed association of aortic atresia and interrupted aortic arch, with retrograde flow in ascending aorta, through extracranial anastomoses between vertebral arteries (arisen from descending aorta) and external carotids.

Subtotal tumour resection is used to treat infants with congenital cardiac fibroma and medication-resistant ventricular arrhythmias; however, complete elimination of arrhythmogenic substrates has been unclear. A 4-month-old male infant with congenital cardiac fibroma and ventricular fibrillation underwent subtotal tumour resection and implantable cardioverter-defibrillator implantation. Five years later, angiography revealed impending compression of the left coronary artery. Elimination of the arrhythmogenic substrate was confirmed and the device was removed successfully.

Unilateral interruption of pulmonary artery is a rare congenital anomaly which is usually associated with other congenital heart disease. Even more rarely it may occur in isolation. Most of the cases are incidentally detected in adulthood. Some cases develop pulmonary hypertension for yet unknown reasons; such cases usually present in infancy with right heart failure. Surgical correction in such cases is associated with adverse outcomes. Heart lung transplantation should be considered in such patients. We report a 3-year-old boy with interruption of right pulmonary artery with severe pulmonary hypertension and right heart failure who was considered for heart lung transplantation.

We presented a 55-year-old male patient with isolated left ventricular non-compaction who was admitted to our emergency department for chest pain and exertional dyspnoea. He was hospitalised due to anterior myocardial infarction, and during his assessment, isolated left ventricular non-compaction was diagnosed.

Congenital stenosis of the pulmonary veins is a rare condition whose outcome is guarded despite the available treatment options. We report a case of a 6-month-old infant with significant stenosis of all four pulmonary veins.

Kawasaki disease is a leading cause of acquired heart disease in children with serious repercussions of coronary artery lesions. Recurrences of the disease are relatively rare in clinical practice. We present a case of recurrent Kawasaki disease, wherein the coronary artery lesions which were documented during the initial illness demonstrated complete regression over the following months, but reappeared with recurrence of the disease.

Isolation of the left innominate artery from the right aortic arch is a rare anomaly. Herein, we present an even rarer case of incomplete isolation of the proximal left innominate artery with the right aortic arch in a 3-month-old female infant with a double-outlet right ventricle and pulmonary stenosis. Surgical repair at 6 months of age was successful, leading to the restoration of adequate flow in the left arm.

Patent ductus arteriosus is among the most common congenital heart diseases. With the increasing use of transcatheter closure procedures, the incidence of complications related to the procedure has increased. Embolization of the ductus closure device to the pulmonary artery is a very rare complication. Since those procedures are often performed under non-operating room anesthesia, anesthetic management of such patients is of great importance. Herein, anesthetic management of embolization of the ductus closure device to the pulmonary artery in a little girl was presented. This is the first case regarding the anesthetic management of such complication.

We report the case of a 14-year-old female who had tetralogy of Fallot along with anomalous origin of the left pulmonary artery from the ascending aorta with co-dominant double aortic arch forming a complete vascular ring compressing the oesophagus along with a left main coronary artery to right ventricular outflow tract fistula. She underwent surgical correction without conduit placement.
