Extract

A single specimen with the palpi broken off. Head pale yellowish tinged with fuscous. Thorax brown, with the apex whitish. Fore wings gray brown, under the lens appearing yellowish white and brown in irregular blotches, with a distinct white spot on the fold at aout the basal fourth, the usual opposite white costal and dorsal spots at the beginning of the ciliae, a small white spot at the apex, and two others at the base of the dorsal ciliae. Ciliae sordid white, with a narrow brown hinder marginal line about their middle.
