THREE NEW CALIFORNIAN SPECIES OF EUXOA (LEPIDOPTERA: NOCTUIDAE) BELONGING TO THE WESTERMANNI GROUP

Abstract

Three new species of the westermanni group of the genus Euxoa are described: Euxoa cryptica occurs in the southern Sierra Nevada and White Mountains of California, Euxoa juliae occurs in the central Sierra Nevada, and Euxoa austrina is evidently confined to the San Gabriel Mountains of southern California.
