Two years ago, while collecting original descriptions of the geometrid moths, the author stumbled on an apparent discrepancy in Packard's original description of Chlorosea nevadaria (Proc. Bost. Soc. Nat. Hist., 16:31, 1874), and in the later description of the same species in his Monograph (p. 378, 1876).
