(A new biography of Andrew Carnegie will be of no small interest to members of the B.A.A.S. Because of this, we invited Dr. Joseph P. Wall of Grinnell College, Iowa, who is engaged on a new study of Carnegie to contribute a few remarks on his work to the Bulletin. Dr. Wall will be a Senior Fulbright Scholar in the department of History, University of Edinburgh, during the Academic Year, 1957–8. He would be very grateful to receive information on Carnegie materials in the United Kingdom and to discuss his work with any members who are interested in it.
