Nutrition in nursing homes

In a nutshell
Malnutrition is rife in nursing homes, and low food intake related to lack of appetite is a major cause.
Supplements may have a role, but improving the ambience of mealtimes and providing more personalised attention during feeding are simple, humane measures that can have an important impact.
