Date: Northleigh, 1345-62 [Henry, earl of Derby, became duke of Lancaster in 1345 and died in 1362.]

Confirmation by the duke of Lancaster1 of some previous gift and confirmation (? no. 270), saving to himself and his heirs a relief of twentyfive shillings on the departure or death of an abbess, and all other services which might be due to them. Northleghe.

Date : 17 February—4 March 1470/1 [Joan Arundel died 17 February 1470/1, the licence to elect her successor was granted 4 March 1470/1 (Arch., XL, 443-9)]. MS. : f. 179r.

Petition by Cristina Edewik, prioress of Canonleghe, to the most noble earl of Warwick and Salisbury, founder of the church and monastery, for licence to elect a successor to the abbess, Joan Arundel, who had recently died.

Date: 1462-1509+ [written by four hands: one after the death of Henry VI, one during the reign of Edward IV, one during the reign of Richard III and one after the death of Henry VII].
