Memo: yt A. B. servant to C. D., of E., husbandman or taylor etc., in ye said County, is licensed to depart from his sd. Master, and is attlibty to serve elsewhere according to the statute in yt case made and pvided. In wittness whereof etc—

Dated ye day, month, yeare and place etc of making hereof.

  1. (1) Suspension of a Removal Order during Sickness.

  2. (2) Cancellation two months later.

(Printed form on back of ordinary Removal Order)

(1) It appearing to us the within-named Justices, that it would be attended with danger to remove the within-named Elizabeth Cooke, by reason of her being dangerously ill at this time; We do authorise and direct that the execution of the within order be suspended until we shall be satisfied that it may be safely done. Witness our hands this 13th day of September, 1802.

(2) It being certified to us Sr Roger Kerrison Knt., Mayor, and John Browne Esq., that the above-named Eliz. Cooke may now be removed without danger, We do hereby direct that this our order be carried into immediate execution; and it being this day proved upon oath before us, that the charges incurred in consequence of the above suspension, amount to the sum of £6. 9s., viz the sum of £4. 3s., the charges of James Robinson, Surgeon, for medicines, attendances, etc. and the sum of £2. 6s. the charges of Christmas Church for Relief for the said Eliz.
