DHC, Diocese of Exeter, Principal Registry, Doddiscombsleigh Church Rates, 1612

They comprised 50½ acres. A separate list noted he held 35 closes which had combined acreage of 151 acres. These were Dux Meadow, Houndicombe Meadow, Wilparke, Okehay, Broad Meadow, Newparke, Pound Meadow, Piscombe, Challowill, Grasshay, White Downe, Hare Hill, Greaterhay, Miscliffs, Miscliff Wood, Bubwills, Roades, Caddavin Meadow, Caddavin, The Woods, Marsh Meadow, Vogsleigh, Broome Marsh, Little Marsh and West Marsh.
