Free access to video materials from the major public service broadcaster. Excellent coverage of US politics and Supreme Court. Includes lesson plans.

IPSA Portal [Basic]

Great site maintained by the International Political Science Association providing an annotated guide to the best online websites for politics students. Includes institutions and data. The site links to MOOCs and courses created by IPSA.

Political Data Yearbook Interactive [Specialist]

www.politicaldatayearbook.com

Great free website based on the European Journal of Political Research Political Data Yearbook and maintained by the European Consortium for Political Research. Includes election results, turnout levels and political party facts for over 30 nations, mostly from the EU. It is possible to export the data.

Independent non-profit company. Focuses specifically on US politics, providing free access to news, analysis and educational resources. Live coverage of Congressional hearings and debates and an online video library of archived recordings.

Influential news site with the latest political comment and blogs.

Politico

American political journalism. Some coverage of international issues from a US perspective.

PoliticsHome (Subscription) [Specialist]

Well-regarded specialist parliamentary news, analysis and interviews. Offers excellent daily bulletins for non-subscribers.
