Each year increasing numbers of garden chrysanthemums (Chrysanthemum morifolium Ram.) are grown in the field by commercial nurseries. The cost of labor for weeding and the scarcity of efficient seasonal labor presents a serious problem. This study was undertaken to determine if weeds in chrysanthemum plantings could be safely controlled chemically.
