References

1 From an exchange of letters with the author, I learned that two copies of this first edition (ISBN 2-85303-059-4) can be found in the Library of the French Academy. It was apparently withdrawn from bookstores a couple of weeks after its initial publication (in 1987) for technical reasons (too many typographical errors). Dont acte.
