* In the unavoidable absence of Mr. H. Milton Colvin, Chairman of the Committee on Coördination of Inter-American Law, Mr. Murdock filed a report on behalf of Mr. Colvin that with the codperation of the Inter-American Bar Association and the Pan-American Union the Committee is gathering listings of valuable works in the libraries of law associations and societies, universities, and other institutions in the republics of Latin America bearing on important similarities and differences between the juridical systems and the jurisprudence of the Latin American countries and of the United States. Through rather extensive correspondence the Chairman of the Committee is obtaining listings of similar works in the libraries of this country through the cooperative assistance of the Law Library of Congress and the law libraries of Harvard, Columbia, Michigan, and other universities and special libraries such as the very outstanding Inter-American Law Division of the Los Angeles County Library.

The bibliography which is now being built up will be an important basis for further comparative studies of the interplay of the two great systems of law and their possible cöordination. The work of the Committee should be allowed to continue and the completed compilation be printed for the information of the members of the Society and others interested in the objectives of the Committee.
