Abstract

We present femtosecond time-resolved transient absorption data taken on polydiacetylene-pTS single crystals over the entire wavelength region of exciton resonance. Observed optical changes are accounted for by a model which predicts quantitatively the large resonant and nonresonant optical nonlinearities.
