Influence of Chromium and Molybdenum on the Structural Stability of a High Strength Damage Tolerant P/M Nickel Based Alloy for Turbine Disks
Published online by Cambridge University Press: 28 February 2011
Abstract
Aeronautical turbine disks are very critical parts in an aeroengine. Disk burst results in the loss of the engine and sometimes that of the aircraft. Their service lifetime being several thousand hours, it is necessary that the mechanical properties are not altered significantly during service.
