Three newly recognized cheilostomate bryozoans from the British sea area
Published online by Cambridge University Press: 01 October 1999
Abstract
Three species of cheilostomate Bryozoa are described, and illustrated by scanning electron micrographs. One was previously poorly characterized and is here stabilized by the selection of a neotype; a second is recognized as distinct from an Arctic congener while the third is entirely new to science and represents the first record of the genus Codonellina from the north-east Atlantic.
