1. Types of presentation. The choice of the method of presentation used by a radar operator is probably the most important of the various alternatives open to him for the most effective keeping of his watch, because they are all different, each has its advantages and limitations and one of them may be best suited to the circumstances and to the mentality of the observer himself. In what follows, the anti-collision use is principally in mind.
