Kikuchi's disease—Apparent malignancy of a neck mass

Abstract

We report a case of Kikuchi's disease presenting as cervical lymphadenopathy in an adolescent. The original histololgical diagnosis in this case was a metastatic neoplasm. We wish to highlight the importance of this rare condition because of its potential for mimicking malignancy.
