Special Sessions: On September 27, 1949 a special session of the Trusteeship Council met at Lake Success to appoint a member to replace Abelardo Ponce Sotelo (Mexico) on the visiting mission to West African trust territories. Antonio Ramos Pedrueza (Mexico) was appointed to the mission to replace Sr. Sotelo.
