* The, Chinese Government also agrees that the operation of current and future U.S. joint ventures in China in the production of motor vehicles and parts will not be affected by juantitative restricions on parts or kits to be used by the joint ventures. Furthermore, iuch joint ventures will be permitted to import parts and kits to expand production, including expansion into new product lines.
