[The draft convention was submitted to the third regular session of the General Assembly. By Resolution 103 (III–0/73) adopted on April 14, 1973, the General Assembly requested the Permanent Council to “study the Draft Inter-American Convention on Extradition” and to “submit such observations as it deems advisable to the General Assembly at its fourth regular session”.]
