Imaging of the Jupiter system with the Solid State Imaging (SSI) camera is discussed. The results of the experiment involve three main parts: imaging of phenomena in Jupiter’s atmosphere, imaging of the Galilean satellite surfaces, and imaging of the smaller satellites and ring system.
