Resumen

El trastorno dismórfico corporal (TDC) consiste en una preocupación por un defecto físico imaginado o ligero. Este estudio es el primer informe europeo sobre la prevalencia y varias características clínicas y funcionales de los pacientes con TDC en un entorno de cirugía estética. Se realizaron también comparaciones con sujetos sin TDC emparejados en cuanto al defecto y la gravedad.
