Abstract

We report on spectropolarimetric observations of 7 A-type supergiants taken with the MuSiCoS echelle spectropolarimeter mounted at the 2 m Bernard Lyot telescope at the Pic du Midi, during June-July 1999 and June-July 2002. We present the values of the derived longitudinal component of the magnetic field. The significance of the results is discussed.
