page 127 note 1 The corrupt entry †⋯γρ⋯αθεν† in Hesychins may also preserve traces of this interpretation; it reads ⋯γρ⋯αθεν ⋯ν⋯καθεν. Α⋯ςχ⋯λος Ἀγαμ⋯μνονι. Schmidt conjectured that ⋯γρ⋯αθεν was corrupted from Ἀτρει(δ⋯νἄγκ)αθεν. See Dindorf's Lexicon Aesckyleum s.v. ἄγκαθεν In any event, the entry contains no evidence for *⋯ν⋯καθεν or *⋯νακ⋯ς.
