TWO NEW SPECIES OF ISCHIOLEPTA LIOY (DIPTERA: SPHAEROCERIDAE) FROM NORTH AMERICA WITH NOTES ON THEIR PHYLOGENETIC RELATIONSHIPS

Abstract

Ischiolepta lama and I. barberi from North America are described as new. They, together with four other species [I. crenata (Meigen), I. denticulata (Meigen), I. intermedia Han and Kim, and I. scabra (Spuler)], are recognized as a monophyletic group. A cladogram, a key, and illustrations of male genitalia for those species are provided.

Résumé

On trouvera ici la description d’Ischiolepta lama et d’I. barberi, deux espèces nouvelles d’Amérique du Nord. Ces deux taxons et quatre autres espèces d’Ischiolepta [I. crenata (Meigen), I. denticulata (Meigen), I. intermedia Han et Kim et I. scabra (Spuler)] constituent un groupe monophylétique. Un cladogramme, une clé d’identification et des illustrations des genitalia mâles sont également présentés.
