Systematic and Biological Notes on the Tribe Platymantispini (Neuroptera: Mantispidae) and the Description of a New Species of Plega from Mexico

Abstract>

The status of the genus Plega is discussed and a preliminary survey of the North American species is presented. Plega yucatanae, a new species reared from the cells of Megachile exaltata Smith, is described and compared with its near relatives. The immature stages are described and biological information is given.
