A new species of Anastrepha (Diptera: Tephritidae) from Colombia, Costa Rica, and Panama

Abstract

Anastrepha woodisp. nov. is described and illustrated based on specimens from Colombia, Costa Rica, and Panama. Anastrepha loewi Stone, the species most similar to A. woodi, is redescribed, and the two species are compared.

Résumé

Anastrepha woodisp. nov. est décrite et illustrée à partir de spécimens de Colombie, Costa Rica et Panama. Anastrepha loewi Stone, l'espèce la plus similaire à A. woodi, est redécrite, et les deux espèces sont comparées.
