Tachardia cornuta, n. sp.—♀scales crowded on the stems of the plant, lively red-brown in colour, smooth and rather shiny, subtranslucent; elevated so as to form in outline a triangle, the base of which is greater than either side viewed from one side, but with the sides greater than the base when the scale is viewed from one end.
