In the statement of the main theorem (top p.337) published by the author in Bull. Austral. Math. Soc. Vol. 39 (1989) pp.335–338, the phrase, “for which f̄(x) exists” should be replaced by “for which f(x) is continuous and f̄(x) exists”.
