Numicia gauhati sp.n. (Homoptera: Fulgoroidea: Tropiduchidae) from rice in India, with taxonomic notes on other Indian Numicia species

Abstract

Numicia gauhati sp.n., collected from rice in Assam, India, is described and illustrated. It is compared with other known species of Numicia from the Oriental Region. N. maculosa pusana Ghauri is raised to specific status.
