Absence of immunological hypersensitivity to dietary cow's-milk proteins in infant rabbits
Published online by Cambridge University Press: 09 March 2007
Abstract
1. Rabbits hand-reared on a diet based on cow's milk frequently experience convulsive and sometimes fatal reactions to their feed. These have been thought to be caused by immunological hypersensitivity to cow's milk.
2. This explanation has been re-examined and found to be untenable.
