The complications of multiple pregnancy have been studied in a total of 619 cases of multiple pregnancies followed in the Danzig Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology from 1953 to 1972. On the basis of the results obtained, early hospitalization is recommended in cases of multiple pregnancies.
