As of Jan. 1, 1967, the Protocol had been signed on behalf of the following additional states: Austria, Federal Republic of Germany, Ireland, Malta, and the United Kingdom, and ratified by Denmark, Ireland, Norway and Sweden. It will enter into force after ratification by all the contracting parties to the Convention: Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Federal Republic of Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Turkey, the United Kingdom.
