Imaging the Three-Dimensional Microstructure of Materials

Abstract

Three-dimensional tomographic reconstruction is capable of producing arrays of cubic voxels with resolution adequate to reveal important microstructural properties in materials. Visualization and measurement of these structures extends the types of information available from conventional 2D microscopy.
