Summary
Much of Annette Kur’s work – and that of the other contributors to this volume – has been concerned with the ways in which international obligations dealing with intellectual property rights can be transmitted into national legal systems in a coherent and relevant fashion. This work, so carefully executed and challenging in its range, prompts the present essay, which is a consideration of the scope that these international obligations allow to national policy and law makers in implementing them at the national level.
