Summary
Applications
Ecosystem ecology can be an endeavour just to satisfy our intellectual curiosity. However, with mankind appropriating such a large share of all kinds of natural resources and so strongly perturbing many element cycles, it is inescapable that ecosystem ecology has become a tool for analysing and maybe finding remedies to the environmental problems that Man is causing.
