Summary
Sam Brownback, a stalwart conservative Senator, was elected Governor of Kansas in the 2010 Republican wave. He vowed to enact an unprecedented conservative agenda, creating a “real live experiment” to serve as a “Red-state model” for Republicans to tout as a national example.
