CELE: Awusho-ke ndodana, kuhamba kanjani phakathi kwakho nentombi yakho?

THEMBA: Kuhamba kahle kakhulu baba, ayingithandi iyagula.

CELE: Ngathini-ke kuwe?

THEMBA: Kwenzeka njengoba washo baba.

CELE: Akuphelile-ke mfana wami. Osekusele manje ukuthi uyidlise intombi le ukuze ikhohlwe ngabanye abantu besilisa, icabange wena kuphela.

THEMBA: Ngiyezwa baba. Sizokwenza kanjani lokho?

CELE: Kukhona umuthi engizothi ngingaqeda ukuwupheka ngikunike wona mfana wami.Uyozwa mhla walunga ukuthi usetshenziswa kanjani.

THEMBA: Yebo baba.

CELE: Kuhle-ke ndodana uma uzwa. Uyabona lo muthi engikhuluma ngawo udinga izithako eziningana. Iningi lalezo zithako likhona lapha endlini, kanti ezimbalwa anginazo. Ngiyoze ngibe nazo mhla sengibuye eManguzi. Ngizogibela ngiye khona kuleli sonto elizosombuluka. Ngakho-ke kuzodingeka ukuba ungilinde kancane ndodana.

THEMBA: Kulungile, ngizolinda baba.

CELE: Indoda yenza njalo ndodana. Ungasheshi udikibale. Mina ngizokulungisela le ntombi yakho ukuze izwane nawe wedwa fana.

THEMBA: Baba, Ndos’ omkhulu!
