Summary

I have been a psychiatrist for over 25 years. My commitment to the field of infertility began when there was very little recognition of what a major life stress this journey is for people. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Stanford University, a Doctor of Medicine degree from Wake Forest University, and I completed my adult psychiatry residency at Harvard Medical School and Stanford University. My desire to understand the interaction of female reproductive hormones and mental health led me to complete a 3-year National Institute of Mental Health research fellowship at Stanford after my residency.
