In memory of Dr. Pamela Phillips, the journal’s long-time Production Editor, who, tragically, died suddenly of an unsus- pected illness while finishing work on this issue of Social Philosophy & Policy. Pam was widely admired for her intel- lectual insight and editorial expertise, and she will be remem- bered for her rare blend of providing rigorous feedback with unfailing kindness as well as the graciousness, human warmth, and thoughtfulness that she brought to her interactions with everyone. This, her final issue, is testimony to her exceptional and exacting professionalism.
