This collection contains a selection of articles from journals published by Cambridge University Press that examine gender differences in the profession of Political Science from a variety of perspectives, including career progression, citation levels, authorship claims, article submission and peer review processes, and publication outcomes.
Among the research papers in the collection are some of the outcomes from the APSA Presidential Task Force on Women’s Advancement in Political Science, co-chaired by Mala Htun (University of New Mexico) and Frances Rosenbluth (Yale), as well as the set of articles looking gender data from five leading journals that appeared in the October 2018 issue of PS: Political Science and Politics.
