Account of J. serjeant of Eleigh from the feast of St Michael in the 13th year of the reign of King Edward [I] until the same feast in the year following [29 September 1285–28 September 1286].
Assize rents. The same [serjeant] answers for 14s. 7d. in rent for the term of St Andrew. And for 17s. 4d. in rent for the term of Palm Sunday [7 April]. And for £1 18s. 6¼d. in rent for the term of the Apostles Peter and Paul. And for £1 9s. 2½¼d. in rent in the term of St Peter in chains. And for £3 13s. 11½¼d. in rent for the term of St Michael.
Total £8 13s. 7½¼d.
The same answers for 7d. for 2 capons and 2 hens for rents sold.
Total by itself (per se).
Farm for a [fixed] term. The same accounts for 8s. for the mill put out to farm between the feast of the Apostles Peter and Paul and the feast of St Michael.
