Summary

This chapter extends this study in several directions: our understanding of the Arab Uprisings, corporatism and its relationship to contentious politics, and the future of labor incorporation in an era of neoliberalism. It also looks at historical cases from around the world that may be fruitful in considering new ideas for corporatist collapse and labor-mediated transitions.
