Summary
The reigning king of Israel appears to be a mighty man of valor. But underneath his stately facade, he’s a wimp, and a greedy and inept one at that. To his credit, he has an assertive queen at his side, and she knows how to get things done. Her handling of a property sale provides a case in point.
